Established in 2010.
During a family meeting, the Coutts’ decided that selling a manufacturer’s blueberry ice cream at the Paupack Blueberry Farm would not give their customers the highest quality ice cream made with fresh, local blueberries. Soon, the Coutts’ established their own ice cream store where they would create premium ice cream made with only the best ingredients (and yes, that includes our own blueberries!)

We are a family run business that makes premium homemade ice cream for your tasting pleasure! We also make homemade fudge and welcome local growers to sell their produce at our location as they can.

Do you make ice cream cakes? My grandson loves Simba from The Lion King and we are trying to find somewhere that might make a lion king ice cream cake.

We do make ice cream cakes but unfortunately we do not have a cake decorator of that skill level. If you were to order some cake topper decorations we would be happy to put them on for you!

I love your ice cream – best by far! But I am diabetic so have to be very aware of suger content and calories. I can eat ice cream, but I have to balannce rest of the day, sugar and calorie/wise. I will continue by chocolate marshmallow treats at Coutts but it would help greatly if I could get that nutrition information. Thanks so much!

I’m so glad you enjoy our ice cream! Diabetes certainly does require a lot of calculation to monitor and control. Unfortunately, because all our ice creams are homemade and vary by the flavor (and even the batch), we’re not able to accurately track the nutrition facts. I’m sorry we can’t help you in this aspect. Next time you’re in, please take a look at our homemade jams section and see if you can spot our diabetic recipes! Those do have an ingredient list and nutrition facts so you can monitor your intake! How many people does your ice cream cakes feed? Are they one flavor, or can there be 2?
How far in advance do you need the order and can you deliver to my son’s camp, Watonka?

Hi Amy,
We have a 7” cake, an 8” cake, and a sheet cake available, so we can accommodate small or large groups! We generally do two layers of ice cream so you can pick two flavors if you like. We need you to call at least 24hrs to put it together and make sure it’s frozen enough for the trip home. Sorry to say we do not deliver, though!

Are any of your ice cream flavors gluten free?

Yes most of our flavors are gluten free unless it obviously contains something like cookies! Just ask our staff before ordering if you want to make sure the flavor you want is definitely gluten free 🙂

The Italian ices do not! No dairy and no gluten, so you should be all set!

For clients who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant and cautiously watching what they consume, especially when it comes to avoiding salmonella food poisoning from milk and egg products, does your homemade ice cream use a pasteurized egg substitute or follow an egg-free recipe?
